Spiral springs are used in many industries as a resetting element that provides a linear increasing torque.
The main characteristics of spiral springs are long-life, no hysteresis, equal distance between coils and linear increasing torque. Spiral springs are usually preferred and fitted in applications that require long life but small angle revolutions. The energy stored is used as a counterbalance or self-aligning.
